Passion in sales
Mood:  bright
All my life as a salesman I have believed that being passionately in love with what you sell is essential to succeed in selling . The love and belief about what I sell, rubs off on the person to whom I am selling to. This is what many may call as the emotional appeal of the product or service. I think in a selling situation the emotional appeal is caused by the salesperson.

Sales trainings have been focused so little on the metaphysical domain of selling, that it is often frustating to be back on the field after training and yet feel inadequate to wow! a prospect .

I think Selling is an emotional process, by and for human beings. We dont sell products, we sell dreams ,possibility and solutions to problems. Imagine if we could do that with passion!

First day
A-ha! The sheer freedom of being able to share myself with the world. I have no idea how this journey will unfold, but it seems promising and exciting. I look forward to share my life and hope to contribute my wee bit.

I have always wondered if there are other salespeople out there, who experience the same turmoil's and tribulations of this wonderful profession and vocation. I say vocation because, if not selling to make a living, we are selling an idea or a hypothesis in the hope of making a difference.

Ultimately, I believe all of us who sell, whether for a living or for a vocation do so to make a difference and to contribute. Selling is a creative process, just as is product development ,scientific research or art. Imagine if all the creative minds of sales got together to share their lives, I think the result would be miraculous.

I hope this blog allows a free flow of ideas and thoughts that make selling a wonderful experience.
